ABOUT Andrey Ivanov, Advanced Sommelier, National Sales Manager, Bliss Wine Imports

Andrey has achieved the Advanced Sommelier certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers and has passed two of the three portions of the Master Sommelier Diploma.

His sommelier career stretches back to 2009 in St. Louis, MO and he has recently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to work with Bliss full-time. For years, he has been recognized as one of the country's top sommeliers through national competitions and by national press.

Andrey & Bliss Wine Imports

Andrey first connected with Bliss Wine Imports after he toured Portugal and fell in love with wines from producer João Tavares de Pina, for whom Bliss had just become the exclusive United States importer. From there Andrey became our first restaurant customer, and later our first full-time employee. He has realized that bringing great wines to the public is his professional passion. He now plays the critical role of National Sales Manager and assists Alleah in choosing new wines for the portfolio through research and travel
